Metadata Plan
For our group’s Metadata Plan, we individually sifted through online texts, search results, images, etc. to gain an understanding of what should be included as key terms in the plan. While working on this, we created a shared Google document so that we could keep track of what we found by adding information simultaneously. By the class’s end, we had come up with our list of key terms and the beginnings of categories for them. These were completed over the past several days since Thursday.
A strength of our Metadata Plan is that it is extensive in its list of terms and created categories so they could be easily located, if the need arises. However, though timely we could have also added a list of the texts and added category tags to them so that an information seeker could not only locate the text but also see other materials similar to the original one.
